Heart Valve Voice US and Alliance for Aging Research Partner to Support Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day

February 21, 2025 Press Release

Heart Valve Voice-US is partnering with the Alliance for Aging Research for Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day, an initiative dedicated to increasing public awareness of heart valve disease and the importance of early detection and treatment.

Heart valve disease affects millions of Americans, particularly older adults, and can lead to serious complications if left untreated. Despite the availability of effective treatments, awareness remains low, and many individuals are undiagnosed. By working together, Heart Valve Voice-US and the Alliance for Aging Research aim to educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers about the risks, symptoms, and treatment options for heart valve disease.

Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day, observed annually on February 22, serves as a national platform to emphasize the importance of heart health and encourage individuals to take proactive steps in managing their risk. Through this partnership, Heart Valve Voice-US and the Alliance for Aging Research will collaborate on educational campaigns, community outreach, and advocacy efforts to ensure that more people recognize the signs of heart valve disease and seek timely medical attention.

As Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day approaches, both organizations encourage individuals to learn more about the condition, discuss their risk factors with healthcare providers, and spread awareness within their communities. For more information, visit www.ValveDiseaseDay.org.
